The man of God who hosted Deputy President William Ruto When he was in Bondo for a series of fundraising was kidnapped at his home on Friday night.

Bishop Johannes Angela narrated how the men tied his hands and legs and bundled him in his car boot. He pleaded with them not to harm him and instead take his car. The Bishop was spared but the criminals sped of the car after abandoning him in a thicket.

Johannes said that the incident was not political, sentiments shared by the police boss who termed the crime as ‘normal’.

The shaken Bishop is safe as the criminals did not harm.
