Former powerful MP Cyrus Jirongo is a troubled man after he failed to obey a court order requiring him to hand over his one year old son to the mother as directed by Resident Magistrate ZW Gichana in an earlier ruling.

Senior Magistrate D N Kotu issued the warrant of arrest after Jirongo failed to appear in court with the child.

Jirongo had been stripped custody of the child but filed a suit against the ruling claiming that the child’s mother was under investigations for abandoning and endangering the life of the minor.
