President Uhuru Kenyatta has said that Ruto will meet the President as he is part of the government. While addressing the nation on the much anticipated President Obama Visit, Uhuru said that the issue of Ruto meeting the US President is neither here or there.

The Head of State was categorically that Ruto is part and parcel of the government therefore the question of meeting Obama was not debatable.

Uhuru was taking questions from members of the fourth estate at State House where he was briefing the nation on Obama visit and the benefits Kenya will accrue.

The President steered clear over the gay question after a journalist from The Guardian asked him what his reaction would be if such an issue was raised by Obama.

Uhuru said that the issues to be discussed with Obama will centre on terrorism and development.
