Luo’s In Kibra and Migori Are Allergic To Development & Uhuru Should Leave Them Alone, Moses Kuria Says (See Full Details)
President Uhuru Kenyatta efforts to bring all Kenyans together has come under heavy criticism from none other than Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria. He claims that Uhuru is wasting his time since Kibra and Migori residents are allergic to development.
Speaking on Citizen TV on Tuesday, Kuria said that the President won’t gain any political mileage from his many forays in Nyanza. The Jubilee government has initiated a number of projects in Kibra that include roads construction, dispensary and toilets in one of the largest slums in Africa. Some of these projects were set ablaze by irate youths said to be pro Raila goons.

Uhuru, who was awarded for being the best President in Africa, has shown statesmanship by forming an all-inclusive government. He has launched the slum upgrading projects in Kisumu, a region that voted en-mass for Cord.
Kuria was quoted as saying:
“You go to Migori, you give them mosquito nets, you are rewarded with shoes. You go to Kibra, you give them toilets, they burn the toilets. You go to Nyanza, you give them something, they say you are bribing them……..”
"It is only natural to say some people suffer from allergies to eggs and beans while others suffer from allergies to development."
Do you agree with Moses Kuria sentiments?
